Pediatrics

Dr. Larnie J. Booker has been a member of the Mid-Jersey Pediatrics practice since 2002. He received his bachelors' degree from Bucknell University and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training, including a year as chief resident in pediatrics, at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Booker is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Rutgers Medical School. He has been named one of New Jersey's Favorite Kids Docs by New Jersey Magazine multiple times.  He has been listed as one of the New Jersey's Top Doctors. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.  He has recieved numerous teaching awards.
Dr. Booker is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., currently active with the New Brunswick Alumni Chapter. He is an emeritus member of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) National Board of Directors. He is a founder of The DIAMOND Foundation, Inc. Dr. Booker is a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset, NJ, where he currently resides with his wife and son. He proudly supports the Embrace Kids Foundation, in memory of his daughter, Lanaya. He is a proud native of Philadelphia, PA and an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoys golf, mentoring young people, coaching baseball and spending time with his family and friends..
