Dr. Scott Miller joined Advocare Mid-Jersey Pediatrics in 2018 after practicing pediatrics for more than 10 years in New York City.  He received a BS in Biology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.  Dr. Miller earned his MD from UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his pediatric residency, which included an additional year as chief resident, at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.  Following residency, he continued to work at Jacobi in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, serving as co-director of the pediatric inpatient unit and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.  Dr. Miller has published in the medical literature and has won several teaching awards for excellence in medical student and resident education.  He is board certified in Pediatrics. 

 

Having grown up in East Brunswick, Dr. Miller is also a former patient of Mid-Jersey Pediatrics.  He returns to "his roots" in New Jersey with his wife and two sons.  When not at work, Dr. Miller enjoys playing soccer, running, following his favorite NY sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.
